Guest Lecturer at the University of Lisbon School of Law, where he teaches Law of Obligations, Private Law Theory and Civil Procedure since 2005. Author of several works on Civil Law, Commercial Law, Civil Procedure and Arbitration Law, he was awarded jointly by the Portuguese Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority and the University of Lisbon the Annual Prize on Scientific Works in Insurance Law with a research paper on group insurances (2008). Nuno Trigo dos Reis earned his law degree (2005) and is currently finishing his PhD thesis in the Law of Damages at the University of Lisbon School of Law. He is a researcher at the Research Centre for Private Law (CIDP) and a Founding Member of the Portuguese Association for the Theory and Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy. Apart from his academic career, he is also a legal counsel.
