Giulia Barros is a lawyer, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Catholic University of Pernambuco, a Postgraduate degree in Social Security Law (Social Protection and Pension Law Practice), and a Master’s degree in Law and Legal Science, specialising in Labour Law, from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
Her academic and professional work focuses on Private Law, particularly Labour Law, Social Security Law, contracts, civil liability and legal research. She has experience supporting funded research projects, organising academic events, coordinating research grant holders, managing contractual and financial obligations.
She has been involved in academic and comparative research projects in Brazil, Portugal and Spain.
She currently works as a Research Assistant at the Research Centre for Private Law (CIDP).
