The third conference in the cycle "The Evolution of Civil Procedure in Europe: A New Concept of Procedural Autonomy?" was held at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon on March 7, organised by CIDP.
The presentations and debate centred on the impact of European legislation and the decisions of the Court of Justice of the European Union on the Civil Procedural Law of each of the countries represented. In this context, the cases of Portugal, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden were reported by distinguished proceduralists from the respective countries. Three CIDP researchers took part in the event: Prof Dr Paula Costa e Silva, Prof Dr Isabel Alexandre and Prof Dr João Marques Martins.
In addition to the productive scientific results, the socialising was equally fruitful, with cultural exchange and the strengthening of ties between the institutions and researchers involved.
