Neither new nor simple: balances and paradoxes in the prevention of money laundering (Opinion article by Researcher Miguel da Câmara Machado in Vida Judiciária journal)

Miguel da Câmara Machado, Researcher of CIDP and Assistant of the University of Lisbon School of Law, writes an opinion article in no. 205 (January/February) of Vida Judiciária journal about tensions and paradoxes of new money laundering legal regime. The article address "two paradoxes of the new regime, that do not seem new but still demand a careful consideration not only of the legislator but also of the interpreters and of those responsible for implementing the law".
